Daffodils marks the beginning of Sheldon Bergman’s 'Visual Poetry' grant at SLEA, bringing his exploration of poetry into the immersive world of Second Life.Based on William Wordsworth’s “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”, the experience brings one of the poet’s most celebrated encounters with nature into a virtual setting.Through narration, music, and a carefully constructed environment, Wordsworth’s words become something to be heard, seen, and experienced.What begins with a solitary walk beside a lake gradually becomes a reflection on beauty, memory, and the way a fleeting moment can remain with us long after it has passed.

Mothers Keep: Songs of Aerthe by J. Romero HowellAerthe, 1879:
After barely surviving the doomed “Expedition of Friendship” into the Ionian Mountains several weeks ago, Lieutenant Axel MacPherson convelesces at Mothers Keep, the oldest known stone settlement on the world of Aerthe. In a nonverbal fugue state after his ordeal, MacPherson, aided by his stalwart assistant Mrs. Felicia Osbourne, attempts to piece together what led to the horrors visited upon him and his crew up high on the slopes of Mt. Iona, and what they might mean for their home country of Luna Maria.
While Lt. MacPherson convalesces, Mrs. Osbourne spearheads the investigation, pursuing many leads. Aided by a whisper network represented by the many cultures and classes throughout Aerthe, Player Characters such as yourselves are conscripted by Osbourne to investigate these potential conspiricies against the crown.
In Mothers Keep: Songs of Aerthe, Player Characters are guided by prompts and telegraph clues (as well as, what was that? a fugue state voice on the wind? Was it Lt. MacPherson?Your own mind playing tricks on you? or is something much more sinister afoot?) Let your mind run away with you and journal your findings in this co-creative, collaborative story experience.

Iraqi painter Spider Mycron, based in Amman, Jordan, works between Middle Eastern heritage and Western form, and gets ideas from the internet and AI. Every portrait and abstract is still painted by hand in acrylic. His region is a gallery, event space and classroom in one, where visitors come for exhibitions, gatherings and art classes, all built around a mission of bridging cultures through peace and creative collaboration.
