Lights, Camera, SLEA!
The Second Life Endowment for the Arts (SLEA) is excited to introduce a new opportunity for the talented SL machinima community to showcase their creativity while helping us share the incredible artistic landscapes of SLEA with the world.We’re inviting machinima creators to use SLEA’s regions as the backdrop for their films.Whether you’re creating a heartfelt drama, an action-packed adventure, a fantasy epic, a music video, a fashion showcase, or an experimental art film, all we ask is that one or more SLEA regions serve as part of your setting. Let SLEA become the stage where your story comes to life.
Why Participate?This is a chance for your work to receive additional exposure while introducing new audiences to the amazing artists and regions that make up the SLEA community.Every accepted submission will be featured on the SLEA website with:

Visitors exploring SLEA will be able to discover your work, and viewers enjoying your machinima will experience the beauty and creativity of SLEA’s regions as part of your storytelling. It’s a partnership that celebrates both filmmakers and artists. How It WorksDuring each SLEA Grant Launch, which spans a six-month period, machinima creators are invited to film their projects using any participating SLEA region.Once your project is complete, simply fill out our online submission form. AwardsAt the conclusion of each six-month Grant Launch, one outstanding machinima submission will be selected to receive 2500 lindens!We’ll be looking for creativity, storytelling, cinematography, and imaginative use of SLEA’s environments. Every genre is welcome, and every creator has an opportunity to shine. Start ExploringSLEA is home to an ever-growing collection of artistic regions, galleries, installations, landscapes, architecture, and immersive environments that are perfect for filmmakers looking for unique locations.
